With the new cooker now installed and running on full power the ease
of cooking up 5 chutneys at once is spilling through the kitchen!

Christmas orders have been plenty, with lots of people opting for the
traditional round iced cake for the small gifts. Those enjoying their
cake at home have opted for a medium square jewelled number! A little
twist on a family favourite without loosing the enjoyment of Christmas
cake at the end of a mammoth dinner!
There are still a few more days left to order your cake, pudding or
gift hamper.

The gift hampers are the best way to send seasonal greetings to a
friend, family member or colleague. Each box is hand packed and
decorated to add the finishing touches to a fabulous gift.

The cookie corner is going strong with Mel producing the most amazing
Christmas decorated biscuits, as well as the Angel Appeal Angels.
Alongside the traditional ones there are a few festive bites taking to
the table; Cranberry & White Chocolate and Smartie Favourites for the
kids.

LilyBakes now has a new partner; Mel.  She is a fabulous biscuit maker & decorator & I am try to persuade her to branch out into cakes!!  Keep you eyes open for our new biscuit range that supports the Angel Appeal (www.angelappeal.com) as well as our decorate a biscuit stands.

Cooking on Gas

I have just logged back onto my blog site and seen how long ago I wrote my last post! Very bad!

However I am cooking on gas (well actually 1 electric hob ring as my gas is off) with all my new stock. The Community Arts Market @ Trade Routers Festival Centre is on the cards this weekend; 2nd & 3rd October 2009.

So come on down to buy some of my awesome produce. On the table this weekend there will be;

Apricot & Ginger Chutney, Onion Marmalade, Strawberry Jam, Chocolate Fudge, Chocolate & Marshmallow Fudge, Marshmallows, Breakfast Bars, Carrot Cake, Banana Bread, Chocolate Brownies and a few more goodies on the 2 days.
